Tikli smoke ventilation system offers comprehensive solutions for smoke extraction and ventilation in buildings. The system includes Tikli Smoke Ventilation Windows and Tikli Smoke Hatches, all manufactured at our factory in Vimpeli, Finland. These products are designed to be fully compatible with the smoke control panels we supply. All products are CE-marked for quality and compliance. The product family also includes Tikli Service Hatches.

Tikli Smoke hatches
Tikli SPTA Smoke Hatch is built using aluminium, steel, and a polyurethane-insulated sandwich panel, making it quick to install and extremely durable. The structure provides excellent protection against moisture, mechanical stress, and temperature fluctuations. The hatch uses a hinge arm opener, which can be connected to either a 24V or 48V battery backup system.
Constructed from PIR panels and thermally broken aluminium profiles, this smoke hatch is an energy-efficient solution. Thanks to minimized thermal bridging, condensation on the hatch cover remains minimal.
The hatches are controlled via our smoke ventilation control panels, available in various configurations to suit your project needs. The hatches can also be used for regular ventilation purposes and are operated using separate control buttons.
Tikli Service hatches
Tikli Service Hatch is designed to provide safe and convenient roof access from inside the building. Made from aluminium, steel, and polyurethane-insulated sandwich panels, it is both robust and quick to install. The structure ensures excellent protection from moisture, mechanical stress, and temperature changes.
The energy-efficient PIR panel construction with thermally broken aluminium profiles minimizes cold bridging and condensation. For ease of use and improved safety, the hatch lid is equipped with gas springs, which make opening and closing effortless—even when covered with snow or ice in winter.
Tikli Smoke ventilation windows
Our smoke ventilation windows are ideal for a wide range of industrial, commercial, and residential buildings. They help reduce the risk of personal injury and property damage during a fire. The windows are based on the Purso LK78X system and can also be integrated with the Tikli Pontti window and facade systems.
The windows are bottom-hinged and open outward. Chain motors ensure easy and fast operation. CE-marked smoke ventilation windows are available in widths up to 2.4 meters and heights up to 1.4 meters.
Tikli Smoke control panels
We offer battery-backed smoke control panels designed for even the most demanding applications. Our range includes various versions, each tailored to the specific requirements of the project. The panels control both hatches and windows and also support ventilation use. Control switches and emergency smoke buttons function quickly and reliably in fire situations.
The purpose of smoke ventilation
According to rescue service legislation, the property owner or operator is always responsible for building safety, including fire safety. Smoke ventilation systems are a key part of this responsibility. Properly designed smoke ventilation devices can significantly reduce human and material losses in the event of a fire.
In the early stages of a fire, smoke ventilation is crucial for ensuring safe evacuation. In large buildings, escape routes can be long, and fire may develop and spread rapidly. Smoke can quickly block these routes. Smoke ventilation creates a breathable zone in the fire compartment, giving occupants more time to evacuate safely.
Additionally, in the early phase of a fire, smoke ventilation aids firefighters in extinguishing the fire and rescuing people. As the cost of a smoke ventilation system can be significant, it is essential to consider its requirements already during the planning stage of a construction project.
